The Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT) Ideological Group (BAT-IG) is a structured political vanguard and "leadership academy" dedicated to institutionalising the governance philosophy of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Unlike conventional support groups focused solely on mobilization, BAT-IG operates as an intellectual and scholarly foundation for the Renewed Hope agenda. We are a community of patriots committed to advancing good governance, innovation, and inclusive development in Nigeria through civic engagement, political education, and grassroots mobilization.

Key Pillars of the BAT-IG

Leadership Academy:

Scholarly Institutionalisation: The group seeks to transform the President’s ideology into a permanent academic institution.
Endowed Chair at UNILAG: A partnership with the University of Lagos to establish the Center for Politics, Policies, and Accountability, including a Bola Ahmed Tinubu Endowed Chair for scholarly training in leadership
The BAT-IG Handbook: Launched on September 18, 2025, this pioneering document acts as a “compass” for 36 state coordinators, providing a structured guide to the administration’s core philosophies and milestone achievements.
Grassroots “Home-Cell” Strategy: A nationwide campaign where each
“home-cell” unit operates as a mini-community center. This model is designed to enable community-level engagement.

The group officially lists “conflict resolution” as one of its primary commitments, alongside image branding, political representation, and the development of “leadership giants”. Its approach to conflict resolution is integrated into its broader mission of institutionalizing President Tinubu’s governance philosophy in several ways:

Political Reconciliation: As a “leadership academy” for the Renewed Hope agenda, the group works to bridge gaps between community members and leaders, particularly in areas where citizens feel abandoned after election cycles.
Internal Harmony: BAT-IG focuses on ensuring that different support organisations do not work at cross-purposes, utilizing its handbook and diaital nlatforms to coordinate actions
